Room in sweet 2bd/1ba house in classic Barber Tract near Windansea Beach and 30 bus line
I am an artist/writer/nonprofit leader looking to rent out a room in my adorable Windansea (La Jolla) cottage from Sept 15-Dec 14, 2025, and possibly for longer. The house is on a quiet street about a block from the closest stop for the 30 bus, which... goes to UCSD main campus, and about 3 blocks from the locals-favorite Marine Street Beach. I would love to rent out the room to students, medical residents, graduate students, post-docs, or faculty members of any cultural background, gender, or sexual orientation, and particularly welcome international students and faculty. I speak fluent French, and also Italian and some Spanish, and truly welcome international visitors with open arms.
The house is fully furnished, but I can store some of my things if you want to bring some of your own furniture or wall hangings for the room. Comfortable queen bed, with linens, pillows, etc. if desired.
Rent is $2,300 and includes utilities and WiFi.
There is ample unmetered street parking in front of the house, large closets in the rooms, and if necessary, storage and reserved parking available for rent.
