Hi! My name is Meiling and I am finishing up my 4th year at UC San Diego but plan to renew my lease and stay in San... Diego for another year. I have a room available in my 2b/1b furnished apartment (the room itself would be unfurnished) starting the beginning of April. I have a prime location in La Jolla (dm for direct address) with a pretty view from the 2nd floor. The apartment is filled with natural light. A little bit about me, I study a variety of concepts from data analysis, business, and sociology. I’m quite the busy bee and tend to be in and out of the apt throughout the morning. I work 5 days a week and have class the other 2 days. I’m a social butterfly but can also respect space and keep to myself.


Best fit:
Looking for either male or female (19-23) to take over the other room. We would share a bathroom but I can assure you I am very clean and have never had any issues with the shared space. Preferably somebody affiliated with UCSD, SDSU, SDCCD or a recent grad. Respectful, clean, friendly and considerate.

- Parking: there is always free, available, and safe parking
- Security: there are a total of 4 security guards who roam the area throughout the day & overnight as well as door code-locked hallways.
- Laundry: from my specific unit, the laundry room is the next unit over so it’s extremely convenient. it’s $1.75 per load.
- Common Areas: Kitchen is stocked up with utensils, pans, dishes, etc. I also have an air fryer, microwave, and rice cooker. I do cook often but keep it clean. Plenty of room if you would like to bring your kitchen necessities with you. The living room is furnished with a couch, coffee table, and decor. I do prefer to keep the apartment shoes off.
- Balcony: there is a balcony, however I will specify that access is limited considering it is directly connected to my room for privacy. But, I don’t mind the occasional use.
- Lease Terms: I am looking for somebody to lease from:
- April 2025 (can be flexible with May) until April 2026 with the option to extend if needed.
- I am also open to a shorter lease term, from April (or May) 2025 until December 2025 :)
