It's a really good idea that's been horribly executed. Construction was rushed, promised amenities were not completed and others have yet to be delivered. Security is non-existant (see other reviews) and management would rather save face and virtue signal than take any meaningful action on issues. If a break-in and double homicide in a common area can't drive any change, I don't know what will.
Seriously, LOOK ELSEWHERE for student housing.

Stay FAR AWAY from ANY Greystar owned housing!!! HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!!!
I have had my fair share of apartments since 2018. This is by far the absolute worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Whether it be no coffee in the coffee machine or dead bodies in the staircases. There is no limit to what Union Grantville and it’s poor security team, Security first company, will do to disappoint it’s residents and compromise the safety of said residents, who might I add are just 18 years old.
What I expect from a property that I am renting from, is secure entrance in and out of the building, and the feeling of safety when I come home. Union Grantville Apartments goes above and beyond to avoid providing any stability and safety for their residents, despite MULTIPLE comments and complaints from this living here.
I sincerely URGE you to NOT let your children rent here nor advertise it to ANYONE you know. Stay FAR AWAY from Union Grantville and ANY greystar owned properties!!!

Double Homicide
Do not live here. You will never feel safe as there is always homeless or more recently, a DOUBLE HOMICIDE in the building. Find another place to live.

After this incident, we took a critical look at our security and made improvements around possible shortfalls. Do not care about their tenants
I would not recommend this place, they totally ignore everything you put in your application. It is also very challenging to get out of your lease even though they have violated the lease agreement
