Private Loft in 3-BD+LOFT — Valentia Apartments in La Jolla

Hello :) My roommates & I are looking for a fourth person to share our 3-bedroom + loft apartment located at the Valentia Apartments. The space we are looking to fill is the loft, which is the entire second floor & largest space in the... apartment. Features of the room include a large window, storage closet, & enclosed stairway (privacy is not an issue, as it is not possible to see into the space from the first floor). We are asking for $1350 + utilities (WiFi, trash/sewage, water, electricity), which on is average an additional ~$100/month. The complex is located near UTC, about a 15 min. drive to UCSD & 5 min. away from the UTC & Executive Dr trolley stations. Underground parking is available & there’s always plenty of parking around the residency as well. Access to multiple pools & spas, a gym, office/working space & free printing, entertainment center, & grilling area included. There are 3 parks & a library at walking distance. We also have in-unit laundry & balcony.

The apartment is officially on hold as the lease has already been signed by my two roommates & I, we’re just looking for a fourth person to sign on. It is a 12-month lease beginning on July 15th.

A little about living with us: We are usually in our rooms studying or on campus. On occasion we carpool to school, for groceries, to the mall, or just to hang out. Common areas are kept very tidy; we each make sure to clean up after ourselves & are also willing to clean up after each other but of course are not expected to. We normally share appliances, utensils, & cookware so there’s no need to worry about having your own things as we don’t mind sharing ours. I have a small dog, she’s very playful & usually in my room but likes to hang out with everyone in the house. We’re each very respectful of everyone’s spaces & things. We also workout/study together sometimes.

About the area: We've lived at Valentia for a year now & we love it! While we are in a very popular area, it is very quiet & we don't get noise from the traffic which makes it great for studying as everywhere else tends to be pretty noisy. The neighbors are pretty quiet & friendly, no issues at all with anyone who lives here as we all tend to go about our own business. Usually you'll just see people jogging or walking their dog. Less than 10 min. from Ralphs, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Chick-fil-a, & other food places!

I’ve included some pictures of our current apartment, which is only the 3-bedroom in the same apartment complex but essentially has the same layout just for a bit of reference. Please keep in mind though that the living spaces in the 3-bedroom + loft (PLAN 3B) are actually bigger than those shown in the pictures of our current 3-bedroom (PLAN 3A). To take a virtual tour of the apartment/for more info on Valentia, you may visit the website for Shea Properties Valentia Apartments.

Please message me with any other questions you may have, or if you're interested in knowing a bit more about the location/area!
