At first, you might think its cheaper but wait till you move out. Three major issues are the office, deposit, and maintenance.
-The staff seems nice but they act so childish, rude, and irresponsible when you need to talk about any issue.
-They improved their online system but tend to keep things verbally and undocumented to get away from things they say and do to eat up your money and lie. Their nonsense is so frustrating but it's costly to fight legally
- They eat up your deposit by arguing... about the paint, carpet, had to bring expensive professional cleaner after your move, and many more. I heard many similar stories about deposit from my friends who moved out and also to myself because I had to move from one of their apartment to a new one in this same complex. I couldn't see the apartment because it was occupied when I signed the contract (this is always the case there), I found later that it had black mold and had to move out (black mold all over the bathroom and kitchen sink which they keep painting over it to hide it) to a better one which they promised but they took my deposit for some nonsense including professional cleaning cost and carpet just for living there a couple of weeks. Later, they made me move out to renovate and they promised to reimburse me if I move out earlier. I had all documentation of mover, utilities disconnect service, and many more documents that I moved out early and they told me that nothing shows I moved out that earlier! and many more nonsense and excuses later and eventually no respond. I will fight legally but it's just time-consuming and headache.
- You sign the contract without seeing the place because it is always market while the tenant is still there. when you move in, you will see a lot of issues but stuck there already and they don't accept to fix anything.
-facilities and appliances are low quality and don't look as good and functional later
-Laundry is shared and not inside your apartment. People always leave their laundry there for hours or too many people sharing. no way you can easily get your laundry done on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Also, you lose money because machines always are broken.
-The apartment doesn't get sun or airflow and you always have mold and smell issues.
-only a couple of guest parking.
-If your window is facing the parking, you always have the rain sound drop on the parking shade.
-Most times they refuse to fix things or you have to fix it yourself like the bathroom flush.
